Description:
Unfortunately this gasket has a manufacturing dimensional error. This error, however can be easily corrected during assembly, so the tearing of the gasket could be avoided. The steps are the following:
- You should place a 1,5mm thick copper or metal ring beneath the rocker cover mounting flaps. The rings should be cut in half, so they won't touch the gasket itself. Ideally you can use some leftover copper rings from the injection valves. You should then tighten the covers.
- After 2-3 months, when the gasket will take its form it will start tom leak again. You can remove the the washers and tighten the covers without them.
