Description:
As the quality of the feed pumps currently available for the L60 IFA is not reliable, it is necessary to use a replacement product.
The machining required to convert the Liaz feed pump has been carried out, the installation process is slightly different to the original part:
- As this feed pump does not have a built-in filter, the inlet fuel hose must be cut in two, a tubular filter must be inserted between them and fixed with two clamps.
- The outlet of the feed pump does not face upwards, so the factory metal tube must be replaced with a flexible fuel hose.
This solution is a cheap but reliable way to replace a currently scarce factory part.
